Super's new rules

The new super rules announced in the last Federal budget have now become law. The major changes have been well discussed in the media but there is also some confusion that has also been generated as a result. If your fund is likely to be affected by the change to the pension cap the most important thing to realise is that there is no need to panic sell your assets - there are provisions in the legislation for CGT relief.
